This limited edition single malt from Deanston presents a harmonious fusion of the Highlands of Scotland and Jalisco. Matured for 15 years, its finishing touch in a Tequila cask has introduced delightful nuances of oaken vanilla and sweet agave to its inherently fruity, nutty malt profile. It is bottled without added colour or chill filtration. The aroma reveals vibrant tropical fruits, vanilla cream, and caramelised nuts. Upon tasting, one can discern an array of toasted nuts, marzipan hints, and vanilla, complemented by cooked apple and sweet undertones of caramel and agave. The finish is characterised by drying baking spices and burnt sugar, accompanied by zesty candied orange, cinnamon, and biscuity malt.
