Revived under the historic Dunville's name, which originally began whiskey trading in 1808, this splendid blended Irish whiskey combines pot still malt and grain whiskeys. It serves as a fabulous sipper and an excellent choice for whiskey cocktails. The aroma is characterised by creamy vanilla complemented by crisp green apples and pears, balanced by syrupy flapjack, biscuity malt, and gentle wafts of sweet citrus zest. The palate presents silky grain, crumbly vanilla fudge, and sweet cake spice with orchard fruits leading to warming prickles of pepper and toasted oak. The finish offers drying oak with wisps of smoke, remaining sweet with buttery spice and dried fruit notes.
