Crafted with a blend of single malt and single grain Irish whiskeys, it undergoes a finishing period in peated casks, imparting its distinctive smokiness. Quite an exciting offering, considering the rarity of peaty Irish whiskeys. The aroma features notes of toffee and roasted coffee bean, with orchard fruit nuances developing when a drop of water is added. On the palate, you will find flavours of apricot, salted caramel, and a hint of blackberry, followed by a touch of basil leaf. The aftertaste is marked by a sweet finish of butterscotch and honey.
