The Mars Komagatake 2021 Edition, an exemplary single malt, is an annual manifestation of their distinctive character. Distilled and matured in the Mars Shinsu distillery located in the village of Miyada, and bottled at 48%, it presents a flavourful dram teeming with delicate floral notes and oaky vanilla. Its aroma is characterised by bright lemongrass and ginger, complemented by dried apricots and oaky vanilla. On the palate, one experiences barley sugar, ginger snaps, raisin-studded malt loaf, creamy vanilla, and a hint of tart citrus. The aftertaste reveals lingering barley sugar, supported by warming spice.
