A 20cl bottling of Tomatin's exquisite 12-year-old single malt, initially matured in bourbon casks before a finishing period in sherry casks. This is an excellent expression to savour as an aperitif or alongside some delectable dark chocolate. The aroma begins with a buttery note, swiftly followed by hints of raisin and almond. The palate reveals flavours of oaky vanilla and fresh mint, interspersed with stem ginger and dried orange peel. The finish is reminiscent of currant buns, with a touch of raspberry jam and barley.
