A remarkable 18-year-old rum from Jamaica's Appleton Estate, this 100% pot still spirit was distilled in 2003 and underwent tropical maturation in casks numbered 420930 to 420950. Bottled in 2021 as part of the Hearts Collection in collaboration with Velier, just 5,000 bottles of this limited release were produced. Its flavour profile reveals notes of sticky ginger cake and cocoa nibs, complemented by a hint of liquorice, progressing to mince pies, earthy vanilla, toasted oak, and a zest of lime peel.
