Presenting a limited edition 10 Year Old expression of the esteemed Black Bottle blend, wherein the Islay whiskies have been matured in casks for a decade before being bottled in the iconic black bottle. This expression exemplifies a harmonious balance of peat with more fragrant and fruity notes. On the nose, one can detect hints of smoke enveloping polished oak, aromatic spices, and melted brown sugar, complemented by apple sweeties and heather honey. The palate offers flavours of gingersnap biscuits and milk chocolate digestives, accompanied by apple cake and pear drops with a touch of fragrant peat smoke. The finish reveals nuances of golden syrup and spiced banana bread, enhanced by cinnamon and a lingering smokiness.
