Presenting the premium Cuban rum from Eminente: Initially distilled from molasses to an ABV (alcohol by volume) of 75%, the aguardiente is aged in white oak ex-whisky barrels. It is then blended with traditional light Cuban rum, which is distilled to an ABV of 95%, and aged once more. For the inaugural edition of Eminente Gran Reserva, the 10-year-old Cuban rum is finished for three months in French oak barrels.
