Another superb sherried offering from Glen Moray's Warehouse 1 series, this 2010 vintage was finished in Amarone sherry casks. A vatting of five casks, it was released at cask strength with a robust ABV of 55.4%, producing just 1,194 bottles. The aroma presents notes of bitter woodiness, plum skin, and malt biscuits. On the palate, one can discern flavours of toasted nuts, tangy marmalade, and herbaceous touches. The finish reveals hints of cinnamon, tart berries, and cooked apple.
