This spirit has journeyed across contrasting terrains. Initially distilled from sugar cane in Panama and aged in American bourbon casks, it then traversed from Central America to the west coast of Ireland, where it was finished for a minimum of six months in rich peated whiskey casks. Panamanians relish rum with coconut water, ice, and a wedge or two of lime, and we highly recommend this pairing. The taste presents sweet notes of vanilla, treacle, and banana, softly balanced by hints of smoke, dark chocolate, and oily toasted nuts.
